How long has CAPS been a partner of Lotto Dstny?

“We have been a partner of the team since 2012, when we initially joined as the fuel sponsor. Then, we also became the sponsor of the two team buses.”

What makes Lotto Dstny unique for you?

“Our DNA is linked to cycling and after many years together, we have built a close bond with the team. Besides, as a one hundred percent Belgian company, we feel completely at home with a one hundred percent Belgian team.”

Why is cycling, and more specifically Lotto Dstny, important for CAPS?

“Of course, we want to strengthen the brand awareness of the CAPS Fuel Card even more. By the way, our fuel card has become an international service card that strongly responds to sustainability. We are always looking for eco-friendly alternatives such as natural gas (L-CNG) and electric fuelling. In addition, we also respond to mobility solutions within the HR department of companies with our rechargeable CAPS Mobility Card.

However, we don’t see cycling as just a means to raise our brand awareness, it is also a way of networking. For example, we are always present at the many partner events organised by the team. We also organise gas station openings, this is in the presence of a Lotto Dstny rider and our team buses. Moreover, we also focus on hospitality events where we really pamper our key accounts.”

Up till now, what performances or events have brought you the most joy?

“Personally, I have really good memories of the press moment about the renewal of our partnership at the 2019 Tour de France. Then, we went to Nîmes during the rest day. The welcome by the team was an unforgettable experience. Caleb Ewan winning the stage in Nîmes the day after really was the icing on the cake.”
