Algemeen Lotto Dstny extends successful partnership with Equilli for sleep solutions for their riders

Lotto Dstny and Equilli, Belgian innovator in sleeping comfort, are proud to announce their extended collaboration. The collaboration, which started in 2023 and had a positive impact on the riders' sleep and recovery, will now be extended by at least two years.

At Equilli it's all about the science of sleep. A science-based measurement, also known as a Sleep Scan, provides a comprehensive analysis of each rider's body profile and sleeping position. Based on this, the ideal firmness of the shoulder, waist and hip zone that should be provided in the mattress is determined. This is different for every rider.

That is why Lotto Dstny is also choosing this technology. For example, before and during the Grand Tours, the riders have a mattress custom-made by Equilli. The Equilli mattresses travel with the riders and the team installs them in the right room instead of the standard hotel mattresses. "We know that a good night's sleep is extremely important for optimal recovery during long periods of effort", says Stéphane Heulot, CEO of Lotto Dstny. "But what one rider needs in terms of ergonomics and comfort is not necessarily good for another rider. With Equilli, we can take these individual differences into account." Also next to the Grand Tours, the team pays attention to the riders' night's sleep. All riders of the Pro Team, Ladies Team and Development Team can use the ergonomically adjustable pillows from Equilli.
